I can't log in with IE 9. Clicking login clears my username and password from the fields, but doesn't do anything.

It does that for the Firefox v4.0 Beta Build 6, for me at least, so I'm just using v.3.6.10 (the current default Firefox browser) right now.

I'm running Linux, Firefox Beta 4 works for me.

Try using Firefox instead.

IIRC Zaq has said that IE hates this site and its a PITA to get anything to work properly with it

While this is true, it's not much of an excuse. Enough people use IE (unfortunately) that it's still a concern. What's strange is when we get conflicting responses to these kinds of compatibility issues. For example, I can log in just fine on IE 9.

It's very hard to test some of these things. I'll see what I can do.

Still can't log in at all with IE9.

And don't gimme that PITA bullpucky now, as IE9 is now HAMPERED by the old IE specific code. It is much improved, and more standards compliant than most or all other browsers at the moment.

The fact of that matter is that login works with all the other browsers. I have nothing against IE. Except that. I have *no* idea why it won't log in with IE9, but I'll look into.

Right, but if I recall, you did some witchcraft to make the site work with the old IE. So maybe if you remove that witchcraft, it'll work.

Like I said, all that trickery people did to make sites look right in IE before now has the opposite effect with 9. So theoretically, it should work if you take that stuff out and put all browsers on equal footing. See the compatibility section at the bottom.

I'm looking into this right now. Does it produce any sort of error etc, or simply throw you back to the page?

Clicking login at the top takes me here: ucp.php?mode=login

After trying to login, it takes me here: ucp.php?mode=login&redirect=.%2Fucp.php%3Fmode%3Dlogin

It won't let me log on sometimes (I checked that I am typing the same stuff) and it does not work on fire fox 4. PS: PM's should be able to be sent to many people!

Aware that Firefox 4 is failing to log in. The login at the bottom of the forum home DOES work on Firefox 4, but the main login method is broken, for some reason. I think it's possessed by evil spirits or something. I'll be exorcising them out over the next little bit here. In the meantime, the aforementioned method works, along with other browsers. (IE, Chrome, Firefox 3 etc)

Sorry about the inconvenience, believe me, it sucks worse for us than it does for you. Fixing ASAP.

Regarding multiple-recipient PMs;
I believe you can send PMs to multiple users using commas. If not, it's not a big priority fix right now.

Try something like:
User1,User1,User3

Couple things;
- Fixed a small breadcrumbs bug. (Double breadcrumbs when viewing forum topics)

- We're currently looking into integrating the Steam API with our forums. The plan is to let you guys link your Steam profiles (along with achievements and game purchases) to our site, so all DETOUR owners could get a medal/badge/something on our forums here.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this, or how you'd like to see it implemented.
